- Hosted the Ambassador of Kenya to the United States, September 2008
- Consulted on a reception for honorary consuls in Indianapolis, November 2008
- Conducted orientation for IU School of Medicine staff planning a conference for doctors from the Middle East, May 2009
Office of Protocol staff has received training from The Lett Group, a nationally recognized protocol training company in Silver Spring, Maryland. All current staff members of the International Center have also undergone protocol training through The Lett Group.
